Fables is an ongoing comic book series by Bill Willingham published under DC's Vertigo imprint then in DC Black Label in its revival run from 2022. The series featured a menagerie of famous fairy tale characters and their adventures in the modern world of New York City. Fables was the recipient of the 2003 Eisner Award for Best New Series, and Best Serialized Story. The series ended it’s original run in 2015. In 2022, the series returned for a 12 issue story with its numbering continuing.
